IEM takes part at ISEF 2019
Xiao Xiao, research associate at the IEM, receives the Best Paper Award for the IEM contribution "Vector hysteresis models in comparison to the anhysteretic magnetization model".
In August 2019, the IEM participated in the International Symposium on Electromagnetic Fields in Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ISEF) in Nancy. Professor Hameyer opened the scientific part of the symposium with the key note speech: "Corona resistant enameled wires as solution for electrical motor winding systems supplied by high du/dt inverter voltage: An insulation lifetime estimation".
During the following symposium days the scientific staff of the IEM presented three further papers. The IEM contribution of Mrs. Xiao Xiao, Mr. Fabian Müller, Mr. Gregor Bavendiek and Professor Hameyer "Vector hysteresis models in comparison to the anhysteretic magnetization model" was awarded the Best Paper Award by the jury of the ISEF 2019. The Rector of the Polish Lodz University of Technology and General Chairman of the ISEF Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Sławomir Wiak presented Mrs. Xiao with the award certificate.
In addition to the numerous, interesting lectures of the ISEF, the IEM staff enjoyed the exchange with colleagues from the different disciplines present and will keep the ISEF 2019 in good memory.
