Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Maribor for Prof. Kay Hameyer

On September 19, 2023, Professor Hameyer received the title of "Doctor Honoris Causa" from the University of Maribor, Slovenia. The ceremony of conferment took place in the historical theater building of the city with the participation of the professors of the rectorate and the deans of all faculties.
The laudation by Rector Professor Zdravko Kacic stated, "The Academic Senate of the University of Maribor has awarded an honorary doctorate to Professor Hameyer in recognition of his outstanding achievements and cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Maribor in the field of teaching and research, and for his contribution to enhancing the reputation of the University of Maribor".
